Jail Infrastructure Building/Facilities Purchasing Warehouse

Project Summary

The Infrastructure Building (IB) and the Facilities Operations / Purchasing Warehouse (FPW) are essential support buildings within a secure, mission‑critical campus designed for durability, sustainability, and reliability during severe weather. Both structures were built above the floodplain and designed to remain operational during major storms.
The three‑story IB serves as the campus’s central operations hub, housing laundry services, deliveries, classrooms, a full kitchen, and staff dining. Its upper level includes a command center, data center, and central energy plant to support continuous operations. The single‑story FPW consolidates facilities operations, purchasing, warehousing, training spaces, and vehicle storage, bringing key support functions into one efficient location.
Durable construction and energy‑efficient systems were used throughout to ensure long‑term performance and resiliency.
