The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community welcomed this new 120 bed behavioral health hospital as not only would the facility help to employ residents in the area both from a construction and clinical staffing standpoint, but as with many communities across the Country, there was a lack of access to mental health care in the region. The design went to great lengths to ensure an aesthetic that kept true to the strong cultural presence within the Community.
