The project for the Hernando County Courts Building is located at 20 N. Main Street, Brooksville, Florida. The existing facility is a four story building with a basement that is approximately 199,492 square feet. The interior renovation for the courts is 20,000 square feet. The scope of work includes the demolition of the existing exterior plaza and monumental stairways and bridge. There will be a new addition of a 1,356 square feet entry lobby with an exterior canopy along with a renovation of the 1st and 2nd Floors of the Judicial Wing to convert office space into a new courtroom and judicial chambers. There is also the addition of a new in-custody elevator which will be installed in the holding areas at all the floors.
